A typical evening feeding frenzy at one of our feeders.
A rare shot of everyone dining in peace!!
Tea for two! A male and female rufous hummingbird
A male Rufous. They show up later than the Broadtails, and in fewer numbers,
but they are very assertive! And so beautiful...they gleam like copper in the sunlight.
A male Broadtail Hummingbird. They resemble the Ruby Throated, and we get them in droves!
When the feeders are close to empty, they hover at my kitchen window,
and stare at me in a threatening manner while I do the dishes. :-)
