These personality quizzes won't completely enable you to know yourself or see yourself as others see you...
but they can be a fun start! Most are light-hearted, a couple more profound, but they all just may provide you with a few insights
into your personality, strengths, and challenges (assuming you answer them honestly!) ;-)
All of these are free, though some also offer more in-depth reports for a price, and a couple require you to register.
I'll share my results (or excerpts of them), which I think are quite accurate - sometimes uncannily so - to give you an idea
of what sort of results to expect and to share a little more of myself through my web site.
I have enjoyed exchanging results with friends and family - feel free to share yours if the spirit moves you!

Which Lady of Camelot Are You?
(from "Quizilla")

My Results:
Lady Nimue
You are Nimue, otherwise known as the Lady of the Lake. Nimue was seen as both a sorceress and a goddess,
she was very much a free spirit and a beautiful and powerful enchantress.

Mwwwahahahaha. ;-)

Which Goddess Are You?
(from women.com)

Artemis with animals
"Artemis" copyright Wendy Andrew.
(Visit Wendy's website, "Painting Dreams," to order this print and see her other awesome artwork. Thank you, Wendy!)

My Results: 66.7% Artemis

If you are ruled by Artemis, your independent spirit belongs to no one but yourself. Your body is vibrant, your attitude robust and your manner vigorous and alive. You are driven by physical rather than mental energy. You feel complete without a man in your life and would never compromise your essential nature for a romantic partner. You are skilled at establishing personal boundaries and enter into relationships on your own terms -- in short, you can take care of yourself. This attitude may at times put men off.
(To which Artemis would no doubt reply, "Yeah, and your point being...?" lol)

Which Greek God Are You?
(from Quizilla)

Bacchus

In the spirit of equal opportunity, I wanted to include a male version of the goddess quiz, but haven't yet found one I really like. For now I'm providing the best two I've found so far, with caveats. The Quizilla quiz above features somewhat obscure gods in addition to a few better known Olympians, and the possible results include the goddesses Athena, Nemesis and Hecate (though they're referred to as "gods"). Your gender will not determine your results, but no worries - the attributes given for both gods and goddesses are androgynous.

The Greek God Test
(from iVillage.com)

This quiz lists the well-known pantheon of Greek gods and breaks your results down by percentages. However, it's designed for a woman to take on behalf of her male partner, and focuses quite a bit on relationships. Men can certainly take it on their own behalf, though, and it mIght even be a revealing one to take together as a couple! ;-)
Which LOTR Character Are You?

Celeborn
My Results: Celeborn

You are most like Celeborn. You are normally a quiet person. Who needs to talk when actions speak louder than words? You are pretty popular, but your fame isn't that big of a deal. What's more important to you is making the world a better place.

What Is Your Medieval Vocational Personality?
(from Corporate Management International's "Kingdomality")

My Results: Dreamer-Minstrel

Your distinct personality, The Dreamer-Minstrel might be found in most of the thriving kingdoms of the time. You can always see the "Silver Lining" to every dark and dreary cloud. Look at the bright side is your motto and understanding why everything happens for the best is your goal. You are the positive optimist of the world who provides the hope for all humankind. There is nothing so terrible that you can not find some good within it. On the positive side, you are spontaneous, charismatic, idealistic and empathic. On the negative side, you may be a sentimental dreamer who is emotionally impractical.

Which Breed Of Dog Are You?
(from "Emode/Tickle")

My Results: Golden Retriever

No bones about it, you're a popular, fun-loving Golden Retriever. Adored by all and too cool for school, you're extroverted and enthusiastic. Your magnetic personality makes you the life of any bash. Since you're a true people-dog, you genuinely love all kinds of social gatherings. Going to parties, dinners, and other shindigs is the best way to add faces to your constantly growing circle of friends. But besides being on the social A-list, you're a confident, well-rounded pup who's definitely something to bark about. Pretty accomplished at anything you set your mind to, your sunny nature and winning ways make you one of everyone's favorite dogs. Woof!

What's Your Personality?
(from "Personality Book")

Funny
My Results:

Your Personality Type: You are a realist who places a high value on trust and loyalty. People notice that you are passionate about your views and that they can count on you when you make a personal commitment.

Your Motto: "If you are going to do it, do it right."

How You Work best: You function best when you are in a predictable environment where expectations are clear. Too much change and unpredictability can make you feel distracted. You are most productive and at your best when you know exactly where you are headed.

What Color is Your Aura?
(from "Auracolors with Pamala Oslie")

violet aura

My Highest Score: Violet

Violets are the inspirational visionaries, leaders and teachers who are here to help save the planet. Most Violets feel drawn to educate the masses, to inspire higher ideals, to improve the quality of life on the planet, or to help save people, animals and the environment.

What's Your Temperament? (Keirsey Temperament Sorter II)

My Results: Healer Idealist (iNFp)

Portrait of the Healer (iNFp)

Copyrighted © 1996-2004 Prometheus Nemesis Book Company.

Healer Idealists are abstract in thought and speech, cooperative in striving for their ends, and informative and introverted in their interpersonal relations. Healers present a seemingly tranquil, and noticiably pleasant face to the world, and though to all appearances they might seem reserved, and even shy, on the inside they are anything but reserved, having a capacity for caring not always found in other types. They care deeply - indeed, passionately - about a few special persons or a favorite cause, and their fervent aim is to bring peace and integrity to their loved ones and the world. Healers have a profound sense of idealism derived from a strong personal morality, and they conceive of the world as an ethical, honorable place. Indeed, to understand Healers, we must understand their idealism as almost boundless and selfless, inspiring them to make extraordinary sacrifices for someone or something they believe in... Healers are found in only 1 percent of the general population, although, at times, their idealism leaves them feeling even more isolated from the rest of humanity. Healers seek unity in their lives, unity of body and mind, emotions and intellect, perhaps because they are likely to have a sense of inner division threaded through their lives, which comes from their often unhappy childhood. Healers live a fantasy-filled childhood, which, unfortunately, is discouraged or even punished by many parents... They wonder, some of them for the rest of their lives, whether they are OK. They are quite OK, just different from the rest of their family - swans reared in a family of ducks.
